img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]The<span style=\"color: #993300;\"> <strong>\u201cEdible Arboretum &#8211; Hoya del Enebral\u201d<\/strong><\/span>, inaugurated in 2014 by the City of Redue\u00f1a, is an ideal place to disseminate and publicize the cultural and natural heritage of our people space.<\/p>\n<p>We invite you to visit the arboretum Foodstuff through an entertaining tourist-environmental itinerary adapted to blind people within the framework of the network of trails designed Redue\u00f1a.\u00a0This space is located west of town, on Via Pecuaria Hoya del Enebral, and connects two of the main trails of the municipality: &#8220;Senda for all&#8221; (interpretive trail of Mediterranean forests) and urban route &#8220;Cultural Route&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The edible arboretum is a place for recreation, walking and relaxation, a place to learn and share culture and knowledge to the field, open to taste and experimenting with new flavors and traditional cuisine contributing to the nearby fruit and vegetables.[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion c_align=&#8221;center&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]Since 2013, our town is celebrated in the month of September\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Contest &#8220;Orchard baskets&#8221;<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0, open to anyone who has a garden in Redue\u00f1a or have been part of some of the training activities of Agroecology developed by the TERRAE network and to present a basket with produce from the garden, provided they have been produced in the\u00a0form agroecological.<\/p>\n<p>This contest is part of the Territorial Development Strategy Territories Reserve Agroecologicos, commissioning Redue\u00f1a City Council.\u00a0The intent of this strategy is to promote the development of environmental activities that encourage recovery and conservation of biodiversity and agricultural landscape rural, agrarian culture, environmental education and food quality.[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion color=&#8221;white&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]Redue\u00f1a has a\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Social and Community Gardens<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0, located northeast of the village, along the road leading to the\u00a0cemetery.\u00a0These gardens are part of a local development strategy promoted by the Intermunicipal Association Agroecologicos Reserve Territories (Red TERRAE).<\/p>\n<p>These gardens were created with the intention of contributing to the promotion of agricultural production, with an ecological profile as an alternative food security could support socio-economic processes in the municipality.\u00a0To this end, a proposal for a model that includes social, productive and educational aspects was developed.[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion color=&#8221;white&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]Together with social gardens there is\u00a0also a\u00a0<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>communal roost<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0.\u00a0This chicken coop was built on the premise that keep different families, which are responsible for feeding and maintaining the henhouse once a week, staying in return with some organic eggs and quality.\u00a0To feed the chickens mainly families bring leftovers home.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, hens droppings compost is created to fertilize orchards, in a process called avicompostaje.[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion c_align=&#8221;center&#8221;
